so it looks like there's no Thanksgiving for me this year. well... in the trivial "traditional dinner" sense of the word. My mom'm family isnt getting together We could have our own family thing, but our oven hasnt working in months (props to my mom for crankin out the meals each night under those conditions) sooooooooooo no stuffing :( no sweet potatos :( no creamed corned :( no green beans with those onion things on top :( oh well.

its getting Soooo coooooooooooooold. sometimes i think i see snow... but its just my mind messing with me.

uhhh ... wow.

Amanda & Me.

Kiera & Me.

Kiera.

+ Amanda.
= Kiera & Amanda.

A new beginning?

Its almost hard to begin another post after the "period of silence" (for no apparent reason other than life happening)

buuuuut. im doing well... i actually read quite a few chapters in Duteronomy today. I am quite intrigued by it, once i get past all of the names that im sure im slaughtering and focus on the actual story being recounted. What if it were in today's times. There would be an outcry. All of this war, and people taking land, and kings being dethroned. Our political correctness would shriek in horror. But thats how it went.

Hmmm sooooo uhhh the rain today. Good news!! My car didnt stall at all. Not even once. It boggles my mind how unbelievably hard drops of rain can pour out of the sky sometimes. Just when you think it couldnt possibly come down any faster, it does- and it gives the poor windshield wipers a workout.

....while the whole experience is quite scary at times (a constant stream of prayers is being lifted up to the Father... begging for no hydroplaning, or worse) it's also a great adventure in my mind. No other time in my life do i get to actually feel the weight of my every action, knowing if i do something wrong, turn to sharply, look away for an instant- disaster is eminient. Adrenaline is pumping. Then, when the destiniation is reached, you feel the need for applause, or some congratulations. It's great fun.

The other day, when it was still fall, i took some pics... sigh. it was beautiful.

....... quite arguable one of my favorite pasttimes.... walking around in Gods creation... soaking it in, until darkness shrouds day until morning. I love night too.... the night sky is one of my passions...
